The macrobert welcomes all children and particularly children with disabilities and special needs.
Audio Description and subtitling are now available for selected cinema screenings - please ask for a copy of or current cinema brochure.
Pram and Wheelchair Access
macrobert welcomes all children and is fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams. We also have a pram parking bay as you enter the building beside our tickets and information desk. If you or your child have any special requirements please let us know in advance to ensure we can make your visit as enjoyable as it should be.
Baby changing facilities
are available in both the men's and women's toilets in the main foyer area. In addition, we offer a baby care room which includes a wheelchair accessible toilet, changing area plus a private area for feeding.
macrobert café-bar
caters for the needs of children and those accompanying them with a selection of healthy and fun food. Board games, and colouring sheets are available for children (and adults). Mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to do so anywhere in the building.
Wallace's Den
is an unsupervised area for children aged 8-16 years. macrobert young consultants are responsible for this space which offers a playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, books, games or just a place to relax! Wallace's Den membership costs £5 for a year - ask at Tickets and Information or call 01786 466666 for more details on how to join.
