Situated on the picturesque 300-acre campus of the University of Stirling, in the heart of Scotland, macrobert presents an exciting and flexible venue for a variety of conferences and events. Renowned for our artistic and cinematic programmes and welcoming environment, macrobert is the ideal host for your event with three auditoria and a purpose-built studio offering a number of solutions for AGMs, boardroom meetings, workshops, and hospitality.
Benefiting from a £5-million refurbishment in 2002, macrobert now boasts the latest in audio-visual technology and internet access, coupled with maximum comfort for your delegates.  macrobert is fully wheelchair accessible, with both the mainhouse and filmhouse having space for wheelchairs, as well as infra-red sound systems for the hearing impaired and audio-described film screenings for the visually impaired.
Our lively and efficient café-bar staff provide a variety of buffet menus and sit-down meal options, catering to a broad spectrum of tastes and budgets.  Younger guests are provided for in the safe environment of treehouse, our in-house crèche, where they can participate in arts & crafts, dressing-up and educational play.
macrobert prides itself on our friendly, helpful staff who will take the time to answer any queries you may have.  Prior to your event a member of our Events Team will take you on a tour of the facilities to allow you to familiarise yourself with the layout and to discuss how to use the space to your advantage.  On the day, the Duty Manager will be on hand to liaise with and you will have a dedicated member of our production team to assist with any technical queries.  Larger events in mainhouse and filmhouse are also staffed by macrobert ushers.
